I think the problem is finding 12 jurors who have not already made their minds up one way or the other.
Everyone deserves a fair trial but there will be repercussions whichever way it goes.
There is not a snowflake in hells chance that he will get a fair trial,
if the lefties get there way he will go to the chair.
That's now the problem. If he gets convicted, the right are going to claim the trial was rigged. If he gets let off, the opposite happens. It really is a no-win scenario.
Probably not, but what can you do. The jury selection process is supposed to weed out any obvious prejudice, and that's about all that can be done.
no.
For.all those convinced that he won't get a fair trial, what alternative do you suggest?
there isn't one, the hope is that he does get a fair jury, trial, but i can't see this happening, everyone is going to have an opinion of this case.
OK - those selected for the jury will undoubtedly have formed their own opinions pre-trial. But they have to hear the evidence for and against and minds can be changed by skilled advocates. Also the judge will have a role in directing the jury as to their verdict. I think the trial will be as fair as it is possible to be.
I think the jury selection process may well take longer than the actual trial :-(
For what it's worth, I agree. The most important thing is that this trial is completely unbiased. The jury vetting process needs to be thorough and, although it shouldn't be this way, diverse. Imagine the uproar if an all white jury acquit him, or visa versa.
Maybe the jury selection should be done "blind" with Q&A by a voice only link.
well yeah he cd if he were in London hur hur hur

well of course he will - Meghan has said there is no discrimination in the land of the Free!
another thread of complete non sequiturs
never mind
jury selection is an industry stateside which is consciously not allowed here
