I don't like those who enjoy the suffering of others. I'm not a Christian, but I find some of Jesus' words a desirable approach to human existence. I don't like those who respond to my views in insulting terms without any explanation apart from their obvious desire to punish 'sinners'.
I'm neither enjoying nor sorrowful about it. It is what it is.
I don't have sympathy for the person, but I don't like to see people rejoicing in his illness. I don't think he is ill as punishment from god, or from karma.

Hmmm, lots of mixed views. Fact that he's got covid like million of others doesn't make just justice.
I'd rather be met the same end he meted out.
No, it's natural.
I think that rejoicing in his illness is harmful to those who indulge it. There should be sorrow rather than joy.
There should be sorrow rather than joy.

You do know what he did don't you, Atheist.
Not sorrow for the 'poor soul' who committed the crime.

Just shows the difference in news reporting!

We don't all express ourselves in the same way though and you can't tell people to feel certain ways about certain situations and circumstances.
Tony, I guess you're not a Christian, but perhaps you agree that he did say some decent stuff. I know it's not easy to forgive sinners, but all I'm saying is that he was convicted and punished under the law and that that should be enough, without people saying that they are happy that he is dead. I wonder what the Christians here might think about it.
Yes, I do believe in Karma

I don't know, maybe you could post a thread in religion.
Bobbi, how do you see Karma in relation to Hitler and Nero and Caligula and so many others, many of whom lived happy lives and had paceful ends (not the examples I've given!)?
Hope the git is terrified and in pain. Ever notice that the anti Christian "believers" all seem to have a messiah complex? They call it believing in themselves of course. Ohh the irony.
Tony, I wouldn't want to prolong this topic. Life's bad enough as it is without people getting wound up about such a negative issue. Let's think about the better side of humanity, not this sort of depressing stuff.
This all has a very familiar ring to it.
I thought this was in news and not the religious category?
Atheist , Karma can and will manifest its self in many different ways
Togo! My man! My stalker! No, the git is not terrified and in pain, he's dead. I hope that doesn't disappoint you. But of course it wouldn't as I suspect you're an athiesty-type. I do believe in myself to an extent. Do you not?
