I hear about Karma so much, yet from what I can see there is absolutely nothing to support it.

More absolute nonsense I suspect!

I don't believe in it. I've seen very bad things happen to very good people and vice versa. When something goes tits up for someone who isn't very nice people like to call it karma....but it's not.

I hasten to add that I wish Karma was in fact a "real" happening!

exactly ummmm!
No. Random things happen to people. Some good, some bad. There is no divine being or entity dishing out anything.
If there is such a thing then it's too slow to give any satisfaction in this life.
Why else are murderous dictators and gangsters strolling about cancer free and not a real care in the world?
One can live in hope.
I think often it's a case of 'you brought that *** upon yourself'

And for good people something nice happening is deserved and good happy people encourage happiness and positivity (sp)
Ah but you don't know what they face in their next incarnation Doug.
"I don't believe in it. I've seen very bad things happen to very good people and vice versa."

Isn't Karma to do with the reincarnation bit? i.e. upgrading from cat to dog, if you've spent a good life as a cat? If that were at all possible.
It's human nature to try and find explanations for monumental happenings - that's where conspiracy theories come from.

If mankind can find a 'reason' for something, however spurious, it gives him a sense of control in an out-of-control world.

It's goes in the same box as religion - it's all about comfort.
It can often appear to happen, it depends whether you want to call it karma or not.
I'm very patient, I can watch and wait. :)
Karma can only be portioned out by the cosmos. Homer Simpson

To be honest ... I'm a man who doesn't know

You are also a man without conviction, and you come and go as well!

Ed - "upgrading from cat to dog" is a bit like "upgrading" from Windows 10 to Windows Vista ;-)

If karma is a part of the fabric of life's rich tapestry, it seems to me that there are too many dropped stitches.
Ed, if you're still following this post, please will you check your emails? I would like my original Bathsheba profile back please.
Ed...I always thought karma was along the lines of....person goes out and beats up an innocent person because they're nasty, a few weeks later they get beat up by another nasty person...that's karma.
The theory of Budhist karma is that the things (good and bad) that you do in this life will reflect in your next life.

Many People think 'Karma' just works for bad things but its supposed to work for good things too.
I had friends who believed that every good thing you do is repaid a thousand times over from the universe. I don't see it, myself.
