Every President since the second world war got elected promising to ‘Buy American’. Trump didn’t invent the policy.

Different Presidents have had different degrees of success. Did Trump deliver? That is very debatable. All Biden has to do is be a bit better, which seen entirely achieveable.
Very reminiscent of Harold Wilson's quasi-patriotic campaigns in the 60s: 'I'm Backing Britain' and 'Buy British'.
Buy American?
What, like Colt, Ruger, Mossberg, Winchester, Remington...

Not every president.
Why is it a racist policy for Trump but perfectly fine for Biden? (rhetorical)
We're in for at least 6 months of this hypocrisy.
Then it'll start all over again with Kamala.
I'd be cringing if I'd ever supported Biden.
Buy British or buy American is not racist.
Local jobs for local people is not racist.

Unfortunately the publics buying decisions are complex and patriotism isn’t high on the list when making purchases. So whoever says it, be it Trump or Biden, they are likely to fail.
You can make it high on Gov. contracts like the Donald did. Or you can just say those jobs are never coming back like Barry did.
roy - // Who has Joe been listening to? //

Probably his campaign speeches, and figuring that making promises about 'buying American' helped to get him elected, so the decent thing would be to carry through on his promise to the electorate.

I can't see a problem with that.
Just spotted the problem.
// Biden was critical of former President Donald Trump's "Buy American" efforts //

That does not means he opposed buying stuff made in the US, it means he opposed how Trump went about making it happen.

// You can make it high on Gov. contracts like the Donald did. //
Except he didn’t. He told the Federal governments to buy American, but made no legislation requiring them to do so. He told them they must publish an annual reports of their progress on buying American. No reports were actually ever published, and purchasing didn’t change.
Biden’s Executive Order has teeth and must be obeyed.
Not much point to this. Since 99%+ of the media, google and Wiki opposed Trump and pretend to idolise Biden, the sunks, etc. only need reach out slightly to prove themselves right. ( No matter how wrong they are)
The Spiceracks of the world who are always right, in case you don't know, try as they might can't find any evidence to support their arguments. It's all been memory holed.
Can you imagine stooping as low as these establishment men?
They'll be rigging elections next.

// try as they might can't find any evidence to support their arguments. It's all been memory holed. //

Trump Tweeting about something to his millions of followers, and Trump actually using his power to change something are different things.
Not finding evidence of Trump doing something is not evidence that the mainstream media has buried Trumps achievements, it is evidence that Trump didn’t do anything except spout hot air.
