As much call as for diddly's implication that anyone who supports Boris is a non-thinker.
I am
NO fan of tories!

However... I think Boris is doing an okay job in unprecedented times. *spits n washes mouth out with soap*

It galls me to say it but I can’t think of any current alternative in the other parties.
Why do people set any store by what the Guardian or any other blatantly anti government media says. Tying your question to such obviously biased reporting does no credit.
Boris has always been about bluster and artful ambiguity. That is all coming apart now. I doubt if he will be PM by next April
Unfortunately this pandemic has got Boris stuck between a rock an a hard place.Does he allow it to run rife or does he invoke measures that will damage the economy?
fiveleaves //. I doubt if he will be PM by next April//
But who would replace him?
I don't want him replaced.
I'm with Boris and won't jump ship jump because papers like the Guardian print their carp,I knew when I opened my iPad just now that this could be one of at least of the anti Tory trio who posted this ,I wasn't wrong
Naomi //I don't want him replaced.//
Nor me, I just hope that this pandemic will end in time for him to get on with governing the country.
Apart from where catching a dose of cov has turned his head, and left him doing more erroneous fire-fighting than planning a strategy to return to normality; he isn't doing too badly. He's still probably the best option for PM in what appeared to be the only party willing to support democracy when the time came.
Like I said earlier: it’s not just the “left wing” media.
It’s the Times, it’s the Spectator for heaven’s sake!

If I wanted a campaign running I’d get Dominic Cummings in like a shot and the PM to do the speeches.
Then when it was won, I’d get someone else to run things :-)
Cummings probably hates the Tory Party . He seems to hate everything remotely institutional.
You can’t run government like that. But at least a few more competent cabinet members would help.

Naomi btw your comment was ad hominem (ad feminam)
That’s the difference.
But let’s let it lie.
Oh right, Ich. It's acceptable to denigrate a whole group - but not one. I see. I guess it depends which side of the political fence you sit on. That's only a guess mind.
I've got mixed feelings now, but I'll admit I wouldn't want to be in his position.
Would anyone, Margie? Easy to criticise but his is a thankless and unenviable task.
It is.
YES
>It’s the Times, it’s the Spectator for heaven’s sake!

There has been a feud between Rupert Murdoch and Boris Johnson since the start of this year. Remember the stories in The Sunday Times which number 10 said were false? https://www.buzzfeed.com/joeydurso/rupert-murdoch-sunday-times-boris-johnson-coronavirus
Can't think of a decent alternative, certainly not KS. Boris has had to deal with unprecedented problems for a new(ish) PM, and expected to visit floods, Factories and pestilence, being a victim of Covid himself. He broke the deadlock of Brexit and it is not surprising that he has the nerve to tweak the leave Agreement a little more.
"There has been a feud between Rupert Murdoch and Boris Johnson since the start of this year"

??
Rupert Murdoch doesn't write Times leaders.
And he doesn't own the Spectator
Boris said on TV, We are going to do millions of Covid tests a day. In Documents Compiled by Boris's Govt,
the figure was put at ten million a day.
When Questioned about this by, The Commons Liason Committee. Boris Answered " I Don't recognise those figures. " How can people trust the man.
