Why are the disabled and those with breathing difficulties exempt from wearing face coverings?...I am disabled and have breathing diffs, but apart from my white stick and making loud breathing noises, how am I going to prove my exemption?...or will that be all that is needed for some to travel unmasked? Ta Muchly...if challenged, I will have a pillow case in my pocket to whip out and shove over me 'ead!

Through your doctor, which is the way people were classified as extremely vulnerable.
I’m sure people seeing your white stick will know you’re exempt ,I would
TFL have given no indication so far (that I can see) of any way to prove your exemption if you are challenged, maybe that will be made clearer soon.

Yes Bobbi (if I may?), you would, but others cheat! I must not be that vulnerable Danny, breathing-wise anyway - and Hi Mamya, great to see you and Big Smile!
If you need proof of exemption for the 15th ,I can't see how that is enough time for a Doctor to give you a letter. In any case, from lockdownsceptics "The Government must know that facemasks are useless, so why this ridiculous assault on our liberty? The only explanation I can think of is that ministers like Grant Shapps don’t think the public will believe them if they tell the truth – that it’s perfectly safe to use public transport – because they’ve succeeded in scaring the bejesus out of them over the past 12 weeks. The only way to coax the labour force out from under their beds and back into the workplace is to make mask-wearing compulsory."
