Rachel Johnson seems to be bending the lockdown rules a bit.

I don't intend to break them but others probably will be encouraged to do so. What do you think?

(sorry I can't do a link)

Diddlydot, you’re so perfect, made of chocolate, you’d eat yourself.....
good reply to The Whole truth diddlydo.
He is the sad and bitter person delivering bile in all his posts.
Cashier - there are rules and there are guidelines which are not the same. Swapping between 2 residences is against the rules and the rules are supposed to be for everybody.
You could report her to the police, diddlydo, so they can decide.
But, as retired teacher Robin Lees who reported DC for visiting Barnard Castle has found out, you may find someone tries to turn the tables on you.
FF - please explain!
" teacher who reported Cummings drove 250 miles himself to get his daughter despite the lockdown rules"

But if you are 100% sure you didn't go against the arrows in the supermarket or drive too far one day then go for it
While it may be reasonable to expect Boris to deal with his employees, MP's and cabinet members, he isn't his sister's keeper. What she does is on her and nothing to do with him.
// I agree. The attitude ‘Well if she can do it so can I’ seems pretty self-defeating. Stupid actually.//

the complete nutcase Lord Sumption ( ex LCJ ) makes the point that Covid is a voluntary infection - so if you dont want it - stay inside!

someone was making that same point on AB - the other side of the argument is that - 200 of the deaths have been in under 50s - so they can go out - have fun - and get it and not turn a hair.

I thought I would wait five days and see what the result of the Durdle Dor follies was - time enough to see a spike of infections
FF - I can't read the article as I refuse to disable my Adblocker for the Daily Wail. If you are implying that I went against supermarket arrows you are wrong - I said I would if I wanted to but the situation hasn't arisen as I don't go to supermarkets for those who need to be marshalled by one-way arrows. As for the "driving too far" - where has that come from? Nothing to do with me or my actions.
Calm down diddlydo- I'm not saying you did any of these things- I'm just saying that those who report others or complain about others publicly need to be certain they have no skeletons in their closet that could come back and bite them (to mix metaphors)
And I think your description of people who follow the arrows in supermarkets as RETARDS shows you up for what you are
I can put my hand on my heart and say that I haven't broken a single rule of lockdown. That's one reason why I haven't met my kids and grandchildren this weekend when many people have jumped the gun and done so.
If one remains isolated with one's own family, I don't see why it's frowned on anyway. Isolation is the important bit, not where you are. A shining example of how insufficient detail was caused by an effort to make it over-simple.
FF - I did NOT say that people who follow arrows are retards, merely implied that supermarkets which need one-way arrows have the intelligence of their customers sussed.
diddlydo, you have told us with great pride that you have followed all the rules and regulations, yet consider others who obey the laid out route in supermarkets as being retards. How do you explain this anomaly?
it seems there are some supermarkets for superior beings that have no arrows, probably in Oxford, the land of the 100% remoaners.
Crowbar alert!
;-)
I noticed during the demonstrations in London at the weekend, none were socially distancing. The mayor of London is insistent that no lock-down rules are broken.I wonder how intends to police these infractions.
diddlydo, I don't know about your computer but on some, if you click on an adblocker logo, it gives you the option to pause the block, so if you refresh the page you can read it. Then when you close the page, the adblock resumes as normal.
