Corbyn and McDonnell want Rebecca Long-Bailey.
I could make a seriously un-PC joke about that but I won’t.
Yes, but I think that will be her problem. Those two are now toxic so any recommendation from them is as bad as one from toxic Bliar.
Please NOT Emily Thornberry!
It might not be toxic with the membership or people who want Corbyn sans beard. That’s why there is possibly a real showdown coming because it’s obvious the members are seriously out of touch not just with the PLP but the voters.

YMB: "My favourite would be Abacus. Five more years of amusement :-) " - too much to hope for! Sadly!
this Jess Phillips i can hearing/reading about seems
like a runner, front i don't know but if a bloke
i would put Keir Starmer up for the job
What a pity ,I thought this was a serious question :=(
After my recent predictions, all I can say for certain is that the next leader will be a woman or Kier Starmer.
How about Len Mcclusky? He's got a proven track record of bringing the railways to a grinding halt, so he's well qualified to bring the country to a halt.
//He's got a proven track record of bringing the railways to a grinding halt //

um, no he hasn't. railway membership of the T&GWU (of which LM was the national secretary from 1990) has never been significant.
So what is your thought then Anne, or just come on to troll?
Difficult to imagine a Sir being leader of the Labour Party.
why not..
she was on Andrew Marr show this morning, she is a candidate, admitted that the Labour party got it so wrong, so that;s a start.
Thanks Emmie.
I thought she came across quite well on AM show, didn't realise that she is 40, doesn't look or sound it...
Keir Starmer seems the most promising. When I have seen Ms Long-Bailey interviewed she didn't seem to have an original thought in her head so I am not surprised she is the favourite of the far left. I like Jesse Phillips's passion but I find her too shrill and I am not sure she is potential PM material. Interesting times
That David Lammy bloke would be a good laugh.
no to David Lammy, he is another liability..
