He's waiting for the postal vote to be in before he falls flat on his face, at least that way he'll get some votes.
It has always intrigued me as to why a person with a quill, pen, typewriter, or computer keyboard with some knowledge of a few things over a period of time re-invents themselves to be a font of knowledge of many things.

//Retro, who is ‘ his boss’ ? //
Not Sturgeon for sure. Work it out. What does HMG stand for? I will try and help you. The G stands for 'Government'
What has changed in the time since Sunday when he said he would make sure the interview happens?
Your post makes no sense. Nicola sturgeon? Ooft .
You just don't get it do you? How sad or obtuse. 'I have asked Her Majesty if I may form a Government' Any the wiser? No I didn't think so. sigh
That's not right though, is it?

The potential Prime Minister can't just rock up to Buckingham Palace or wherever the Queen is.

It's the Queen who summons the potential PM to ask if he can form a Government, not the other way round.
The Queen asks the new PM,whoever that may be to form a government.
The new prime minister is formally asked by the Queen to form a government which is known as kissing hands. He does not ask her if he can form a government. She's in charge of the protocol not him.
as far as I know, the postal vote closes at 10pm on the 12th December. (och, you know what I mean)

Boris has more than one boss, surely. It's the electorate imo.
That is the correct deadline, ALBA.

I have yet to hear Boris utter one coherent sentence during this campaign. Waffle, waffle, bumble, bumble + his usual sound bites of "Get Brexit done" and "oven-ready". He knows Andrew Neil would make mincemeat of him and he's frit. What a coward.
he is going head to head with Jeremy Corbyn i think this evening at 8.30pm assume its on the BBC
He will simply say
"but Jeremy Corbyn" "But Jeremy Corbyn"
He is doing enough interviews.

did hear what AN said last night,
Question Author
That was a brilliant address to the nation by Andrew Neil and showed Boris up to be the toerag that he is.
AN is self important bully. Why wouldquote[anyone] want to pander to his ego?
our PM is not a toerag, what a strange person you are to think so.
'address to the nation' - seriously?
Mr Neil is so far up himself he can see his tonsils.
