I know there are arguments for and against trophy hunting and I'm defintely against it but what are your views?

Apologies in advance for the worm can being opened :o/

The hunter died. Oh well. That's "sport" for you.
Karma, the morons that hunt for "trophies" to offset their otherwise impotent lives are gutless scum. I cheer when an animal turns the table.
Seems a bit unfair that the deer doesn’t get a trophy to hang on a local tree
No worm can from my perspective. The moron got all that was coming to him.
He paid deerly for his hobby.
if only it was that smarmy dentist who grinned for a photo with a dead lion he had shot ...
'The commission has been searching for the wounded animal.'

They'd better not kill it.
rocky they may have to...depends on its injuries
Of course they won't kill it. It'll be brought to the shot deer centre where it will recover and live a full and productive life.
If there is any hope for the deer it should go to a vet and the bill taken out if the estate of the person who shot it.
I noticed halfway down the page there was a link to a story about a hunter who was killed by an Elephant then eaten by a Lion. ☺☺

Police Scotland have a lady dog called Karma. :-)
I can't see it in the article, was he hunting for fun?
Was i wrong to laugh when reading the guy had died?
Strange people. All vegans, are you?
Trophy hunters are sociopaths imo, and if nature wants to make her own trophy wall, then that's fine with me.
Gored Blimey. :0)
Hunting to eat it is fine but trophy hunters deserve all they get. As this was an old stag I doubt it was for eating.
I have Googled several reports and cannot find any reference as to why he was hunting the deer. So, knowing the Americans penchant for one of their favourite 'sports', i'll just assume he was doing it for fun. If that makes me 'strange', Spice, then so be it.
Acting stagnant is the way to catch these hunters out. :0)
a deer playing possum perhaps TC ? :-)
