Boris is the new prime minister.
Its Boris. Surprise surprise.
//Does Boris bleach his hair?//

He won it by a land slide -.-
Tis Boris
Let the resignations commence ...
Of course all those disparaging Boris on here do really wish him well, for the sake of the country? Yes?
With any luck

Like Theresa May before him, you mean?

spath @ 1204, not until tomorrow he isn't.
That zacs and everyone else is Boris’s big attraction. He’s not dull, he has “chutzpah”
That isn’t going to work with the EU.
He may lead us with “chutzpah” into a no deal Brexit but I can’t see how that’s any better than a Theresa May “no deal Brexit”
It might be more cheerful but ....
The EU won't work with anyone who won't bend over backwards to fulfil their demands. They have the option to be reasonable by the end of October, we know they won't and thus will force a no deal. Their choice, whilst pretending that's it's ours; but it's really Hobson's choice for us. However Johnson is at least the most likely to do what has to be done.
Go BoJo !
The EU isn’t going to cancel the backstop.
It doesn’t matter how much Boris shouts at them
then we leave with no deal ich, very simple.
The backstop just to remind everyone was OUR idea! Or at least an inevitable consequence of it.
We wanted: open border with Ireland and N Ireland not to be treated differently from the rest of the UK.
If we tell the DUP to get lost then an arrangement could be come to where no backstop is needed but that would mean a customs border in the Irish Sea which we’ve said we don’t want.
The other option is technical solution which Johnson seems confident of: not confident enough of it tho it would seem. Otherwise why not just go with something backstop after two years) you know is never going to be needed ...
Maybe Johnson will stitch up the DUP...
So really what Johnson needs to do one way or the other is get tough ... with people this side of the Channel .
