I'd prefer neither Jordy but hey ho
I think it is a failure of politics. However, people will go through and through to explain to you how this is democratic. Apparently 'we' want this.
"Make America great again"

"Make Britain great again"

What can be wrong with that?
George Canning was the PM who holds the record for the shortest term in office (just under 4 months); any bets on a new record being set?
No. Boris is the candidate most likely to get Brexit through. And that's the present major issue. If he doesn't then no one will, save perhaps by royal intervention.
"What can be wrong with that?"

We strive to be better than what we once was before. The definition of great seems to be different, in the minds of these politicians, compared to the minds of the actual population.
"major issue."

Yeah but is it actually, in reality, a major issue? No. It's not a war, it's a petty strop the UK is throwing, and they're not doing it well. It's an embarrassment. It's not a major issue.
I am quietly hoping for Boris, although the reason is completely different from what motivates those wishing for the same result on AB and beyond.
Someboby with balls needs to get Brexit over the line. Boris is the man to do that. Like Churchill, once this is over he may well be replaced.
Anything that causes confusion and uncertainty of the future is a major issue. You hear business complaining every day in news articles that they don't know what's happening so can't plan properly (even if they are just using it as an excuse for not being capable of creating and executing risk limitation plans). Which is down to folk trying to delay and/or thwart Brexit. So yes. The major issue.

So what's wrong with that? If Boris does as good a job for the UK as Donald has done for the US, (& survive a hostile media) you will have been well served;

Boris will save the world. ( in his dreams )
I'm not sure Boris has ever claimed he would save the world, has he?
I wonder what some people here will complain about if Boris does a good job. Lets not forget he is only one man and the only person, other than him, I have any confidence in is Steve Barclay who has been working hard to keep things moving.
ZM is correct we need someone to do what is necessary instead of all the fannying about up to now.
(spits coffee all over monitor)

;-)
I was wondering if some alien entity had taken you over ZM!
May as well dig a hole now and bury the UK because Boris will do it within a year.
I thought May had already tried ?
I am with you Jordyboy....Add Farage to that pair of buffoons as is suggested and sit back and wait for the handbasket to hell!!!!!
