Just seen this. I wonder if all the unproven accusations against him took their toll. He had a heart condition anyway.
Rest in peace, mate.
RIP Freddie. Great comedian.
Very handsome as a young man and a great comedian. He could also belt out an Elvis song too.
R.I.P. Freddie. The speed up and slow down thing.. part of his act was brilliant... and to this day I've never seen a better Elvis Impersonator.
Oh yes, he was an excellent singer.
A complex man who packed a lot into his life. RIP

He did make me laugh in his younger days. Such a sad ending to his life..RIP Freddie..
Good grief. He was a controversial man. RIP Freddie.
So sad, such a talented lad in his time.
We saw him in Great Yarmouth about a million years ago.

Quite tiring to watch.
RIP Freddie
Is it ok to say this? I never liked him as a comedian, but...whooo...looking at photos of him as a young man, he was gorgeous.
//He was forced to sell his £700,000 UK home and moved to Spain in 2015, despite never being charged over claims he put his hand up a girl’s skirt in 1974.

Chain-smoking Freddie was reduced to living in a pokey one-bedroom flat — but still loved a laugh.//

How sad. RIP.
We’ve all had our time of being gorgeous. Freddie was not a nice person at his height of fame. Arrogant, inconsiderate, and very egotistical. But he lived to see his reputation destroyed, his financial situation depleted by legal parasites, his looks altered from handsome to bloated. A rollercoaster of a life. Rest easy Freddie, it’s all over.
CloverJo, try a bit of this:

Oh dear. Always made me giggle. Very muti-talented ,energetic ,,humorous performer . IMO in the same zany league as Kenny Everett.
Thanks Freddie. That Hamster got you in the end.
He made me laugh, not a bad singer as well.
RIP Freddie
My dad was a long distance lorry driver and stopped in Manchester a lot where he went to the working mens clubs and he was always talking about him long before he became famous - one club had a very high stage and he used to jump off it regularly into the audience.
