Not one jot. They have nothing better to do that decide how we must all bow to their ideology so they can *** off. Climate change will be beaten by further technical advances not by forcing people to give up the odd carrier bag or eat tofu.
I believe they want to ensure the UK's "carbon emissions" are reduced to zero by 2025. Good luck to them with that. I trust they will be content to be stuck in one dark, cold place. Me? I won't be so content so I'd prefer they turn their attention elsewhere.
I'm with their intentions, but it's near impossible to avoid hypocrisy - how did they all get into central London?
Like the absurd Paris conference on climate change, with people jetting in from all over the word, using taxis and hotels, the carbon footprint of that conference alone needs assessment before starting on the self-congratulation.
Vitue-signalling of course, but still, it's good to be young and I hope they have a nice time together in the evening.
I wonder if, in a quiet moment they realise that some of the finite resources, the production of which may affect the climate will have to be used to repair their wanton vandalism.
No support from me , if they want a demo then do it on a Saturday, the buildings will still be there for them to climb.
We get screwed for green energy and China pumps tons of stuff into the atmosphere, perhaps they should have a demo out there.
If I was a hard working commuter travelling to London from Sussex or wherever every working day at great expense I would love to support them by the neck on the end of a rope. Whilst the great unwashed ,unemployble generally disrupts people going about their lawful business I would have greater respect and regard to those who choose their protests and demonstrations on a weekend when no havoc is caused to anybody.
