She needs to wind her (brass) neck in and retire gracefully from the stage.
I wonder given all the mess that is politics in recent times whether 10% of constituents will bother to vote and subsequently trigger her removal.
oh dear what a shame, but I think she is still drawing her MP wages?
Question Author
She must be wishing she'd have simply accepted 3 points and a fixed penalty like the rest of us.
The Lord Archer of Weston-super-Mare seems to be still sitting in Parliament, in spite of everything.
I was a bit moisty

I think the brother really is called Festus - a baddie if ever there was one - who was meant to take the rap perhaps because he was the driver - - didnt step up
Long history of not stepping up and this time Fiona got the crip

you cannot choose your family

yeah the rules were changed because the jail-birds were refusing to fall on their swords and still sitting in the chambers where the Great and Good (and they were Great and Good once !)
so the new ones could be terminated.....
but like shot on a blanket....
where the Great and Good rules our lives ....
TTT I think within certain limits you can receive no points if you go a speed awareness course at a cost of around £100, my BIL does them on Saturday mornings (ex road traffic officer)
It's certainly looking grim for her prospects.

Mind you, what exactly would she be leaving? A party riven by controversy and a leader who is,er,not PM material with a lot of dodgy close allies.

yes tony I have actually done one of those but ironically they only offer them to those with minor offences, in my case 36 in a 30 which is about as wet as you can get! The point is though this woman's massive ego and delusions of grandeur have left her in the slammer when really it was minor thing to start with.
ag was discussing politics with some friends this morning and views on who to vote for in next election so varied, personally wouldn't vote for May, because of how shes handled brexit, Corbyns a joke IMO whos left?
oh come on boys and gurlz
fiona was done for perjury not speeding
"TTT I think within certain limits you can receive no points if you go a speed awareness course at a cost of around £100,..."

Yes, normally offered for speeds up to (Limit + 10% + 9mph). You can only do one in three years, the number of previous convictions you have does not effect the offer and they are not offered at all in Scotland (yet - but there are plans to introduce them).
yes TTT why she lied is beyond me for simple speeding fine.
Question Author
keep up tou pee, she was done for perverting the course of justice etc but none of that would have happened if she just coughed to the initial speeding charge.
TonyV - yes,it's a sorry state of affairs isn't it?

"...fiona was done for perjury not speeding"

Perverting the course of justice, actually, Peter. A different and more serious offence which carries a Life sentence as a maximum. (Perjury has a maximum of seven years).
And I forgot to add:

Oh Dear!
How Sad!
Never Mind!
Careless omission.
