>>This country isn’t experiencing the problems that uncontrolled immigration is bringing to mainland Europe

So you missed the news over the last couple of years of the hundreds of Asian men who have been locked up for raping and abusing young English white girls then.

Or the fact that in about 90% of knife crime / killings in London it is black or Asians involved.

Or the number of drug gang related shootings that mostly involve black or Asian gangs.

Or the Romanian bank card scammers we had a few years ago.

Anyone who says this country is not affected by mass immigration is living in cloud cuckoo land.

As jack has pointed out, the reason behind the march remains somewhat clouded.

Any person with a brain and a heart will abhor this attack, and marching in the street doesn't really emphasise that reaction in a meaningful way.

I have mentioned previously that I believe that demonstrations are largely counter-productive - marching to say you are against one person being hurt, and then either getting hurt yourself, or hurting someone else, rather defeats the entire point of the exercise.
sanmac - // As AH said on another thread: "There is a climate of suspicion and fear around communities comprised of people who have roots outside Europe, and this is perpetuated and stoked by the media and this is another example." Haha! //

My posts on individual threads are based on my view of the OP, and the points made on that thread.

Please do not use my posts to back up any view of yours which I may not actually agree with - you can state your own case if you wish, do not use my words to endorse your opinions.

Thank you.

How trite you make it sound. This young girl was more than hurt . She was gang raped FGS. I suggest she has suffered more than hurt feelings.
This peaceful protest was not about one girl but this was the second such assault in their town alone. The other was murdered after being brutally violated.
This was a peaceful march by ordinary Germans who I am sure were not looking for or expecting violence. They have that right to do so.
Unless you are unaware the scale of horrendous sexual assaults has escalated since Merkel foisted this disaster on ordinary civilised people. You cannot defend that surely.?

I used the word 'hurt' in the first part of my point, to align it with the second part - since it is unlikely that anyone is going to be raped on the demonstration.

Last time I refused to dignify such a crass and offensive suggestion, it led the thread off-course, so I will decline the option to argue that point over again.

Regular AB'ers are well aware of my views on violence of any kind.

New members will learn over time, because my views are consistently stated on a daily basis when appropriate to the debate in question.

Trolls, mischief makers, and people looking for a fight by making pointless observations, I shall be delighted to ignore.

I am not a troll or a mischief maker looking for a fight. Your stance on this case appals me but can't say I am that surprised.
Once again you crawl behind your excuse of "I refuse to dignify such a crass remark"
The crass remark was you saying" because one person got hurt"
You have been accused by other ABers of defending people of the Islamic following for committing such evil crimes and you deny it.
Now you seem to denigrate ordinary Germans for stating ,in peaceful protest, they want no more of it.

These German citizens are not your Tommy Robinsons you so despise.

/// marching to say you are against one person being hurt, and then either getting hurt yourself, or hurting someone else, rather defeats the entire point of the exercise ///

I must have missed something, I read the Link and it didn't mention any violent behaviour by anyone.

I would give up on this one if I were you. I am not going to debate with someone who accuses me of being a troll or mischief maker just because he wants to side step a question. Not worth getting a suspension for.

With andy, you have to remember that what he says is not what you think he says...you've misunderstood it and misrepresented it if you repeat it.

Thanks for that Ben, that clears everyfink up nicely.
""Less than 20 percent of the identified 1,523 known victims of historic grooming and rape in Rotherham have been engaged by police. After a jury at Sheffield Crown Court found seven men, six Pakistani-heritage, one of Yemeni-heritage, guilting of the historic sexual abuse of five vulnerable underaged girls in the Yorkshire town, the National Crime Agency also announced that Operation Stovewood has resulted in just 14 successful prosecutions. “There are currently 22 separate investigations under the Stovewood umbrella, with 147 suspects identified and more than 290 complainants engaging with officers. 24 suspects have been charged and 12 have been arrested (or attended a police station voluntarily) and bailed or released under investigation,” the NCA said. There are also 275 other people also under investigation, with the majority of the some-400 individuals being investigated still living in Rotherham, reports The Metro. Of the survivors of exploitation in the town, 296 — all female — are actively engaged with police officers, representing just 19 percent of the total identified, and not including any who are yet to come forward. The original figure identified by the Jay Report — 1,400 — was revised upward by more than one hundred last year, alone.""
Oh look there’s an elephant in the room. Lefties says No, you are mistaken there is no elephant

My point was addressed to demonstrations in general, which often end in violence, not this specific demonstration.
// I have mentioned previously that I believe that demonstrations are largely counter-productive//

which ignores the Poll tax demonstrations
and those against the Vietnam War
Leipsig demos before the fall of the Berlin Wall

so I can say without Irony - I do believe the Man is right !

I am attempting not to see this thread derailed by the determination of certain posters to engage me on a personal level, which is futile, boring, and ultimately gets threads deleted.

Your assistance in not providing provocative posts and stirring off-thread nonsense would be much appreciated.
