dirty democrat tactics.
Jim I think a more accurate comparison, were one to make it, between the U.K. and US would be the two supreme courts.
Yes. For once common sense has prevailed but only because he hung in there. Many would not if only to protect their family from the rabid left.

Unfortunatley not before besmirching his name, just like Sir Cliff.

This needs to stop, it is not justice.
Common sense should tell you that a man who is meant to be sitting on an institution above politics, and have the purest of integrity, doesn't belong there if he shouts and screams at senators, lies to them about his drinking habits, and generally shows a lack of temperament.

Yes it may be that the Democrats are politically motivated here but equally the republicans were determined to push this through without at the very least a proper investigation. The whole thing is rotten.
Talking of smears, youngmafbog. You've got to see this;

An accuser and an accused, one of whom is lying ,so we will probably never know he truth.

Not only that Andres. She now says that she has no wish to proceed further. Proceeding further of course would mean submitting "evidence" and making statements under oath that are liable to result in perjury charges if proved to be lies. Of course this does not protect her from civil action from a number of sources besides Kavanaugh. Soros has his fingerprints all over this vile subversion attempt.
Then I am sure the "others" will proceed Danny. Are You?
I think we need a ‘Godwin’s Law’ equivalent for mentions of Soros (!)
^^I bet you do. What do the think of him in Chechnya these days?
