Okay - this is news (yes, I know there's a thread in Chatterbank, but the best people are in the News thread).

I personally think the AnswerBank redesign is a huge success and well overdue.

The choice of font is perhaps the only element I'd question, but other than that - bravo to the site admins.

How .?
it'[s just terribly designed, there is now a big gap down the left, put all the links there like they where! now I have to play find the subject! Jesus H christ, who designed this? I hope you didn't pay money!
Click on Ab Editor's link, weecalf.
I'm on a Samsung Galaxy 5 and I see only two answers at a time in portrait. The font is miles too big and typing about 125 characters fills the box. Is there something I am missing?
When the box is full pressing return should generate more space.
My phablet/phone seems to have settled down a bit now. All the wobbly text is now neatly in its box. It's a bit like going into a new oap home, you find the necessary rooms and remember where the are, and then wander about a bit, I'm getting there!
I like it, once you are used to the new layout it works just like the old system. I did have trouble before I did the CTRL F5 bit!
Much easier to read , even without my glasses!
Just footling about on the the new site. Slightly stranger. Like the font, just bought a new pair of reading glasses. A whole £1. I will get to grips with this site after a nap.
It might look great on a pc but on this 'phone it's not. As I said in a previous thread, I use the desktop version on ma 'phone but there doesn't appear to be that option unless it's the desktop version I'm already viewing in which case it's mince.
It has a few teething problems, but overall it is a vast improvement. My only serious complaints are a) ugly, boring colour scheme and b) STILL no edit button.

cannot agree, the screen is 99% full of irrelevant 5h1t3

Isn't that just a typical thread?
sp I'm on a Mac using Safari and I had to clear history, then update, and it was OK.
Thanks to those who replied to my profile in Latest Posts question.
View all categories is this a joke ,it's frozen .Please let's back to the last one and we won't mention it again
clear your history, weecalf, all those dodgy sites need vacuuming out. More seriously, I had the same problem and it cleared it.
The only thing I don't like is having to scroll to the bottom of the page to find Latest Posts.
Also, too many ads breaking up the replies. I'm scrolling up and down and getting mixed up with where the thread ends and the big ads start.
Agree, Cloverjo. Why all the ads. interspersed with the answers? Not keen.
I'm on the PC now and it's so much quicker for me. I like the layout now I've reduced the font size. I think it's far less cluttered than the old site and won't take long to get used to. Don't give up on it anyone. xx
Text is too large.
Simple solution to that TTG, as has been explained on various threads.

Just zoom out.
