They say that the remain campaign are depending on the young to vote to stay in the EU.

Well it looks as if this lot, have more serious matters to attend to, much more important than the future of their country.

I don't think so Ummmm.

When I was in my teens or early twenties, I might have wanted to queue for hours on the roads, sit if a muddy field, soaking wet, listening to too-loud pop music. Not any more.

But let them that want to, enjoy it.
Its not my cup of tea either but I would not ever dismiss anyone for attending or dismiss them for not have more important matter to attend to!
You don't have to camp. You can go in a caravanette, or even chose glamping.

The first year I went I think was the first year it was 100% dry. I came home looking like I'd been abroad for two weeks.
Children running around and having fun has been mentioned. No objection to that (Good Stuff!) but shouldn't they be in school? I'm a volunteer reading tutor, on boy has (in 8 weeks) put on 1 yr. 2 mths. Reading Age. Another has missed 2 weeks due to being taken out for a holiday at the end of half-term (cheaper, but it means he missed 4 weeks in total) - he's only managed 4 months increase in 2. OK, it's an increase, but it shows the effect of absence.
it does not look like fun to me Islay.
well if we vote to Brexit then the Man from the ministry can ban it
at present of course the funsters at Glastonbury can party on protected by the Human Rights act AND european diktat

in fact such is life that if we vote for Brexit then the Man from the Min cd ban it on Friday ! such is the degree of freedom Brexit brings the average Brit
I would rather gnaw mikey's testicles off frankly!
TTT..........well, I can't reach my own testicles, so any help would be appreciated !
Lol

I didn't queue to get in. I didn't sit in the soaking wet. The music wasn't loud.

There are loads of stages. There are comedy stages, cinemas, workshops. It's not just a load of drunk people dancing in the mud.
My kid sister is going to Lattitude this year for the first time ever stepmum is freaking out but I have said I will drop her off and I have friends going so they said they will be emergency contact if sis gets into a situation she does not feel happy with!
Ummm....I'm glad that the weather was smashing for you, when you went, but it very rarely is and it doesn't look promising for this weekend.

Everyone to their own !
Tell your stepmum not to worry, Islay, the sites are patrolled by police, security and ambulance crews.
Mikey.....it doesn't rain continuously. The mud dries out.
Lol I know Ummm but SM will worry as SS is only 17 and that is what mum's do!!
Given that Glastonbury sells out instantly before any performers are announced is testament to its enduring appeal.

It is perfectly possible to attend, and not go near the main areas - there are sixty-five individual performance areas on the site, which is the size of the city of Bath.

I don't see the appeal of festivals, although I go in a professional capacity, I am off to Glastonbury tonight, but I am in a hotel and have access to press toilets, so I avoid the worse issues of the weekend.

Andy H...take your Wellies though....just in case !
mikey - D'ya think?

LOL!!
well it is quite dry in Manchester
ning-a-ning...( plays air guitar )
good voting weather
why dont they hold the festival there ?
MAABOF!
And I thought I sounded like my granny what does it matter if they enjoy it. I still have great memories of my visits the first group to play Glastonbury was Stackridge loved them then and do now, not that anyone on here would, my granny didn’t, ah yes the good old CND Glastonbury Festival
