From my own stance, I'm an old-school socialist raised on notions of fair play and Christian charity. Even as a practising atheist I think these are good ethical values.
AOG's entitled to the question but posters are also entitled to query the question. For my part I believe a sustainable solution to mass migration won't be easy to achieve, and will take international strategy to resolve.
I didn't realise Europe has been invaded - have we mobilised troops? Missed this one completely, fortunately my son's abroad so won't get conscripted. I think a plural society is a good thing and would like many resist moves to reduce choice of belief or lifestyle. I think social alienation is a bigger threat to society's good than which god you choose to worship or ignore. I know as a historian that change happens all the time, sometimes gradually and sometimes quickly. Nothing is static.

As for TTT's input: members of my socialist family fought for the western allies in two world wars without complaint. Some went MIA.

I really, seriously, object to the notion of discourse and difference in society being categorised as childishly and destructively as some on AB do. But I suppose it's much easier for the usual suspects to lash out than to think it all through down to the bottom and back up again.
