To find and take action against the scum that did this as they were against people who made so called racist remarks on social media ?

Typical response we have come to expect from some, regardless of who has carried out this wanton piece of vandalism, they would rather first blame their own countrymen, rather that those who have been known to inflict us harm.

Wait till you know who are the guilty ones, and then if it is proven to be the EDL or any other English group who want to stir things up, then I along with others will be at the front of the queue to voice our utter disgust at their actions.

But in the meantime blame the usual suspects, because they have been known to commit more atrocious than the EDL or the BNP have ever done, or likely to do.
I don't think anyone was blaming anyone in particular, merely pondering that which challenges our credulity.

How can we, without the facts. In the meantime, we can await and speculate, although I see you have already made up your mind.

Why do you exclude Muslims from 'your countrymen', aog ? And have you leapt to the conclusion that the offender must be a Muslim ? Why not?

Nobody is blaming our countrymen first. However, the evidence available suggests the strong possibility that a non-Muslim did this and we should not be like baz, who has jumped to the conclusion that it was a Muslim.
Once again Fred, Baz didn't mention muslims. The first person to mention them was Jake.
Outrage sells newspapers - probably a Sun journalist did it.
I think your grasping at a very feeble straw there, Svejk.
*you're
svejk, it's an obvious and reasonable inference from the wording of the OP, contrasting action on 'so-called' racist remarks with any against the 'scum' who did this. The suggestion is of one group being protected from imagined racist insults but not pursued when they do something worse.
Gromit, // Why is it an odd message? It promotes Islam. //

////Er, well no it doesn't, does it?////

Yes – it does – to like-minded people. Desecration of a British war memorial with the word ‘Islam’, which means ‘Submission’, is a statement of defiance.
trigger, that picture has been doctored, i already put that one to bed so to speak, as i looked up a whole raft of photo's from that rally, and the original says Islam, not Aslan.
