Just off up the school but what would you do? Kids haven't seen their dad since Monday. I was planning on taking some of them on Sunday (parties on Saturday, need help looking after the ones who don't go, etc) or should I just take them out of school tomorrow and take them? Visiting is 2.30 - 7.30 and it will take about 1 3/4 hours to get there? I think himself will feel better if he sees the kids knowing that they know he is not going to die or be drooling, etc and they will feel better for seeing him. Thoughts welcome (can't see that they will be doing much at school).

How about you compromise and pick them up from school early?
End of the year so not much doing in school, I'd pull them out. As much as you've told them he's fine, they'll feel better seeing for themselves.
Under those circumstances Sherr, I'd take them out of school and tell the school why, surely they'd understand.
Tell the school what is going on and take them out at lunchtime.

I've heard it said that teachers have hearts too.....;-)

Pleased to hear he's doing OK.
Exceptional circumstances...Friday only a short day ..end of term.....on hols here....take them..!! Hope all is well and you are feeling stronger....xxxx
Oh! Mine don't break up until 24th
I wouldn't give it a second thought and take them.

Their emotional being is as important as their school record. They need to see their dad to dispense any fears they might have. He needs to see his kids if he is well enough.
