Gromit, I can only presume that you were also able to shrug off the beheading of Ken Bigley and all the other innocent hostages who have suffered the same horrendous fate at the hands of fanatical religious madmen. War is war, and war brings casualties on all sides. This was not war. It was cold blooded murder carried out in the most horrific and barbaric way...

So was McVeigh a terrorist?

I'm a bit split but I'd probably say yes
--------------------------------
Yeah, the indiscriminate targetting of a building containing men, women and children in his own democratic society probably just sways it.

Sheesh.

Terrorism Act 2000, see section 40, then sec 1,

Orderlimit. Clear as mud. No wonder people get away with murder.
Its an islamist attack with meat cleaver hacking and shouts of alu akbar

ive been at work all day so only just seeing reports of what happened... wasnt this in retaliation to something that happened earlier? from what ive seen its an attack by muslims.... if it was two guys who were C of E would you call it a christian attack? and btw it Allahu Akbar

im muslim and white TWR

Question Author
How do you mean retaliation?
Ignore TWR pdust......

Lets spare a thought for the armed Police who did the deed and hope they get the support they need.
like i said ummm ive not seen anything until just now but ive seen 2 or 3 comments elsewhere saying its in retaliation for attack on or in a mosque... i was going to read the entire post before asking that but got to the comment 'its an islamist attack' and decided to comment then
for chrisgel
Apparently two mosques have been attacked in retaliation to this murder - not the other way round.
Question Author
The attacks on the Mosques were in retaliation.

Looking at the EDL's facebook I would say there are more to come :-(
*Easy answer Chris, if they do not like the place / Country where they live, Piss off abroad or back to your Family originaly came from, simple.*

ive reported that TWR loads of us were bloody well born here and its people like you that act like this that makes it hard for the majority when the minority do this kind of thing
thanks shoota..... im seeing loads of conversations/threads about it elsewhere but not getting whats happened in sequence it seems

i cant see how it can be seen as a terrorist attack though tbh.... do they class shooting and stuff you see on the news as terror attacks or do they just call it youth/gang culture?

im in no way condoning whats happened but would such as this be called a terror attack then?

i know its not anyway near the same but its an unprovoked attack on a young girl by a british man...

Question Author
That's the difference.
I would suppose that 'they' are assuming that these two young men are members of, or motivated by, a recognised 'terrorist' organisation.
Last I heard they were still dithering about whether it fell into the category of a terrorist incident or not.
Doubtless the media will have no such hesitation.

i havent seen the political or religious statement made, do you mean by him saying Allahu Akbar? or as dot said he said an eye for an eye? sorry umm im not being an arse here, i am seeing so much conflicting stuff and even googling i cant get a proper story
Question Author
Have you not watched the video?
all i can find is this "We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you." and this '"I apologise that women have had to witness this today, but in our land our women have to see the same. You people will never be safe. Remove your government, they don't care about you."

both from the same article on yahoo news
