I like to think the police will be keeping an eye on them, if there are any police left.

Concerned, of course and rightly so - a very close watch on them.

I thought Khuram Butt was dead.
Good grief, we must be the laughing stock of the entire world.

Yes we should be concerned. Very, very concerned. I don't know about Butt, but Adebolajo and his sidekick have never shown a grain of remorse for their sick, evil crime.
Ooooooo..........scary headline......

113 of the people convicted of terrorism offences *won't* be released and that number will include Michael Adebolajo.

The Security Services will keep an eye on those who will be released.
Butt shouldn't be a problem.He's dead.
A research project for experts like Buenchico - or enthusiastic amateurs:

How much does it cost to "keep an eye" on somebody like Choudary?

I'm not interested in the money, I'm interested in police hours per day.
//Adebolajo and his sidekick have never shown a grain of remorse for their sick, evil crime. //

he apologised not that long ago.....

I'm no expert and I'm not very enthusiastic but I have read it requires a team of 16 officers to 'keep an eye' on 1 fractious enricher.
Do you think, Mushroom, that he might have been a tad disingenuous when saying "sorry"? Perhaps looking to increase his chance of parole?

Sorry is a 5-letter word. It means bu66er all really. I personally hope he never sees the light of day again.
I doubt he will, NoM.
Well, no, he probably won't. There would be nationwide uproar if he did.
I know the other crimes are disgusting too but what they done was beyond shocking and it was all caught on camera. Seeing them waving their weapons covered in Lee's blood was just so sickening.
Extremely disturbing, and I too hope he never sees the light of day again.
Thanks for that, Spicerack. Did a quick Google on surveyance and found this:

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/terrorism-in-the-uk/11251792/Only-a-fraction-of-terror-suspects-can-be-watched-247.html

Apparently it's MI5 who do the surveying.
Only if it's granted. One needs look at individual cases of course. The examples mentioned in the thread title must surely be denied for some time yet.
//Depends where you live i guess... //

Did someone really say that?

Yes, of course we should be concerned - concerned that out justice system is woefully inadequate. These people should be removed from society permanently - all of them.
In summary....
*Some* people who were convicted of Terrorist offences between those dates and are now eligible for release this year will be released (some won't, of course).
And the two people specifically named in the headline, won't be......on account of one being convicted of murder, and the other being dead....
JTH

Seriously?

Is one of the killers named in the question dead?

Christ sake.
