Much has been said about the brainwashing of our children by 'nasty left' teachers, here two prime examples have been exposed.

One a member of The Socialist Workers Party is described as a special needs teacher, it would seem he is in need of some sort of 'special teaching', in the correct way to conduct himself.

The other well what can we say about her when she comes out with disgusting terms as this ‘Who wants to p*** on her grave?’

Both should be given their 'marching orders' but I doubt they will.

but would you like your child to be taught by a person who spouts this nonsense, or stands in trafalgar square and swigs champagne all the whilst firing off expletives against a woman it's unlikely they knew much about, except perhaps third hand. I confess i don't like any of the hatred that has been expressed about MT, i can only assume some do it to follow the herd, and some to find someone to blame for societies ills, even though that person had been out of office for years.
had they done this about Putin, they'd end up in prison, gulag or whatever passes for one these days... thank heavens for democracy eh?

/// Calling for sacking of people for holding such views seems equally mentally deranged, or inhumane, to me....///

I refer you to the answer I gave triggerhippy.
Legacy lives on. Thatcher was a towering political influence, so you do not have to have been there to appreciate the consequences - otherwise no one could have an opinion on anything that has happened throughout history that we did not directly experience.

I would not have an issue with teachers like this teaching my kids, unless it were shown that they were using their lesson plans to offer up propaganda. No one has been able to demonstrate that so far at least.

I would imagine though that these individuals will probably end up facing a sanction or reprimand from their respective organisations, because of the media attention they have brought to the schools...

/// Well, aog, people of sanity have been known to "dance on the grave" of many a leader whom they hated or thought had destroyed their country. Why do you see these individuals as mentally disturbed because they think and would do alike? ///

Not in this country, neither do we burn flags etc, that is just not the British way, would you wish this country to revert to those type of ways?

at the risk of incurring Godwin's Law..

did no one burn a nazi flag on VE Day or a Japanese flag on VJ Day
did no one have a drink and a jig in Trafalgar Square when Hitler's death was announced?

Your notions of what is, or is not, a British way of behaving are highly suspect
lazyg, i will bet you a quid they won't.

a quid it is, Em :)
How many parents have complained about these teachers?

In what way have their political views impacted their teaching abilities?

Were you out of the country during the G4 protests?

zeuhl, the reason that people did a jig, dance and indeed celebrate in London, and around the country, was relief that the war was over, not so much that Hitler was dead, and that they hoped no more people would be killed, that their loved ones could come home, and life in whatever way could begin again. I have seen photo's of people glorying in the deaths of Mussolini and his mistress, those who hung him from the lampost, but that to me is totally wrong, he should have faced a war crimes tribunal and then hanged, or shot. But the vigilante actions by some can't be attributed to the many who were simply glad they had survived and come through what was a world wide disaster.
You might see such celebrations as wrong, Em ,and that is very noble of you - but by and large, humans are not that noble. Celebrating the death of a figure of hate, or one that is despised, is a pretty understandable human reaction.

And in the case of Thatcher, its a small fringe that felt the need. And there was plenty of eulogising to balance their actions...

The DM,with their witchhunt of those celebrating the death, however tasteless that action. and their calls for the sacking of such individuals is a far more worrying issue to me...

By the way - I was wholly correct in accusing you of making up 'facts' to support your argument.

i am not in the least noble, but i do think the burn the witch, and other choice morsels very distasteful, i am certainly not going to be anywhere near the route next week, i fear that a riot will ensue and no intention of being caught out in the middle of it.
@Em Yes, Distasteful I would agree.I think given her influence on peoples lives, I can see why some might hate her and her legacy, and you know, humans do the strangest things.

But not a sackable offence, which is what indirectly the DM want, and it would appear AoG too.
I'm amazed at all out left wing contributors here fighing tooth and nail to defend these lowlives when we know if they'd been the EDL doing the same thing to someone like Nelson Mandella they'd be beside themselves with anger! PMSL

You don't see the irony?

The right wingers are doing exactly what you accuse the left wingers of doing?

Makes me laugh too.
