I studied this at school and it knocked me sideways. It is unbelievably beautiful in its mathematical precision, and really got me into Baroque music.

em10 seem to have a problem posting video clips, only managed it once and can't remember how I did it lol. Will have to admit I'm just a technophobe.
As an ex-choirboy (many, many years ago) this is my all time favourite.

I love Stille Nacht. Much prefer it to Silent Night, which seems to lose something in translation imo.

alba, heard the story, which i believe is true, that hostilities between German, British troops ceased on 24th December in WW1, and the Germans started singing Stille Nacht, silent night, and for a moment there was peace. I have always preferred it sung in German.
