Seems like this is one of the few jobs available at this time of international crisis . How would I go about applying for a post ? Seeing as it is not a steady income do you think I would have to inform the benefits people?

I have checked it out for you and I think
You can claim additional benefit for the parrot that would have to sit on your shoulder .
You can continue claiming JSA if you inform them that you are abroad looking for a job and you show written evidence you have an intgerview so suggest that you get Captain Hook to write them a parchment saying you are having same.
If you need help with your cv let me know

I don't think this sounds right ,but someone we know went to a job and didn't like it so left and said the JobCentre had told them they could try it out and if they didn't like it they could remain on JSA. I think they were also paid for the few days they were there but not sure.
Is there a trial period?
