Seems like this is one of the few jobs available at this time of international crisis . How would I go about applying for a post ? Seeing as it is not a steady income do you think I would have to inform the benefits people?

sorry knobs dont want to come between you and CC
noway you always in the way..... lol
you would have to declare it. if you're on JSA it may be considered that you're not making yourself available for full time paid work.

I have checked it out for you and I think

You can claim additional benefit for the parrot that would have to sit on your shoulder .

You can continue claiming JSA if you inform them that you are abroad looking for a job and you show written evidence you have an intgerview so suggest that you get Captain Hook to write them a parchment saying you are having same.

If you need help with your cv let me know
i got rid of noway.carry on looooovers
crazycathy, you can't claim JSA whilst abroad!
Come on Sara he is a would be pirate... with a cutlass
sara3 do you work for jobcentre? if so can I ask you something?

you can ask, but I only deal with prosecuting naughty people :o)
ha ha ha

I don't think this sounds right ,but someone we know went to a job and didn't like it so left and said the JobCentre had told them they could try it out and if they didn't like it they could remain on JSA. I think they were also paid for the few days they were there but not sure.

Is there a trial period?
