The woman is played by Myfanwy Waring, who played Amber Johanssen in The Bill.

The man is Paul Opacic, who played Adrian Huby in The Chase and Mark Waddle in Bad Girls.

Interestingly, Paul Opacic is the best friend of Paul Fox who played Jeff Goodwin in The Royal.

And did you see Dr Jill Weatherill's real life brother Tim Robbins in last night's Royal?

He played the hen pecked patient who had a borrow of the fish.
