A new crime drama on tomorrow night on BBC1 at 9.00 pm.
Looks good, with Timothy Spall, Sheila Hancock and a few more well known actors.
It's a true story, one I'm sure I'll remember, as we get into it.
Looking forward to this one.

the details are so awful, I will give this one a miss.
There is a 'I was almost there' program which goes over the fella's details
let alone numba 2. which was kinda half the length and still awful

the perp has accepted that he did it - altho the plea 'Not guilty' means disputed, rather than "I didnt do it"

Ah, I can't remember this story at the moment but I'll have to see how much I can stomach.
Just love Timothy Spall..
I'm a big Tim Spall fan apparently he kept mumbling (Yes) his lines in rehearsal for this scene in Red Dwarf... but in front of a live studio audience word perfect.

:-))
He's great..
Brilliant Red Dwarf clip.
'Back to reality' is one of my all time favourite RD episodes.
It has a fab cast, I will usually watch anything with Anne Reid and Timothy Spall in it but I won't be watching.
I prefer crime dramas to be works of fiction, not based on recent murders.
This murder was shown as an episode of Killer in my Village a few years ago so I wonder how true to life this version will be.
Timothy Spall, for me, was the star Of Auf Wiedersen Pet .
Think I'll give it a miss too, I totally agree with Barry.
I'll be watching...fact or fiction, should be good.
(I can recommend the new series of Beck on BBC4 and iPlayer if you like Scandi fictional drama).
Koo-tar - the killer in my village just had the one victim innit?

spoiler: I thought the diaries were drawn from a secret safe and the perp went " oops didnt think of that!" when they came to light. In fact he knew all along...kinda weird considering they were so detailed

Hmm..
Well, watched first episode tonight. Excellent acting from Timothy Spall, as expected. Very sad how this beautiful soul was preyed upon. It's all coming back to me now, having seen the documentary some time ago.
I watched the first episode, great acting. I took an instant dislike to Peter he was so prissy and needy.
Unlike some dramas it moved at a pace. I’ll watch the other episodes .
I watched the second episode tonight. It is compelling viewing but I felt sick to my stomach watching tonight's episode. How devious and manipulative can someone get?
Question Author
I thought the same, retro.
Quite a harrowing watch, nevertheless, compelling viewing.
Not sure I’ll continue to watch now . :-(
I won't watching anymore. It made me very uneasy.
retrocop - totally agree with you. Unfortunately there are some very manipulative people out there.
Surely you could see the manipulation happening in the first episode?

Anyway. I thought it was very very good. The bit I found a bit out of place was that Anne's daughter had taken so long to tell the police woman about Ben & Adam, or that the police hadn't put two & two together on this.
