I really enjoyed this. A bit different and it tied up all the loose ends - something that so often doesn't happen. Anyone else like it?

Patsy...Goldberg lock Cassie and her daughter in a room. When they were let out I would have thought whoever let them out might say something along the lines of

'Who the *** locked you in there?'

Which would have heightened suspicion on Goldberg and quite possibly had the other police thinking...I wonder why he did that and mmmm, I wonder where he is now?
Fair point ,Roy. I was so engrossed, I didn't let it bother me :-)
it's some sort of nick that can have an undiscovered body lying in it for a few days!
Also... how many more blokes was Lorraine planning to kill that just dumping the bodies down the drain wasn't enough?
Folks - Have you ever heard the phrase 'Over thinking '?

It's a drama, things move to shift the plot, otherwise it's a documentary.
You think to your limits and enjoy.

Another thought. What was the thing about all those men disappearing around the same time in February regardless of year? Did that turn out to be relevant to anything?
Why are there so many, errr, people of colour in it?
the killer used the "carnival" (which happened 1ce a year) to pick their victims because that's when they killed their spouse, and maybe because it was easier with all the big hoo-haa going on around that time

Thanks bednobs. That rings a bell now.
Love it ,plenty of twists in it ,great cast in it also
I thoroughly enjoyed this, having watched the whole thing last night - thanks to Naomi & the others that recommended it :-)
I finished watching this last night and too wandered why Cassie and her daughter didn't mention who locked them in the room. The Ken and Barbie characters were bizarre but still a really good drama.
As I said on the other thread, I really enjoyed it. "Safe" is also written by the same person, and that was good too.
Have also been recommended "The Innocent" by him... which i haven't seen, but will have a look for.
yes niami they were very villanelle, they freaked my daughter out and she is 32
