I'm watching it at present and actually think that it is better this year, I thought that the transvestite was really good, also Sweden's entry, but one thing I'm really impressed by is the staging and lighting - I imagine that is all computerized nowadays but very clever all the same. We haven't got as far as Molly yet, but I do think that there is some good songs this year.

I was wondering about the ladders, too. What was that about?
My favs are UK (of course) Austria, Denmark, Iceland and Spain
Thought the UK was good and the intro video flag idea excellent.
Well Denmark managed to win last year so I don't think "political" voting really counts for much. I'm wondering how much Eve has had to drink, given Croatia weren't even in the semis!

Definitely the best UK song for years and I also agree that the standard of entry is higher even than usual :-)
I am soooo annoyed with the voting again this year :-(
why did I think it might be different from any other year boo hoo
Actually the voting seems a lot less biased than normal
With the exception of Belarus of course :-)
20 years since Riverdance. No other interval act could compete.
Eurovision has plumbed even greater depths with an act like this winning.About time we pulled out and saved our money.
>>>with an act like this

Er, which one, Grumpy?

If you're referring to Conchita then surely you have to accept that he/she has a great voice?
I loved Conchita and I'm really glad she won.
It was an exciting competition. A shame the UK didn't do better as it was a fine song well performed.
But Georgia giving Russia 8 points was about as unpolitical as you can get ...
Well done Conchita. Hard luck Molly. you didnt deserve 17th
Why shouldn't Conchita have won, Grumpy?
I thought we would have done better than we did, hadn't heard our song before the show and thought it was a good choice.
No I wouldn't accept he/she has a great voice at all.
A bloke with a beard dressed as a woman has won. How depressingly predictable. That's the only reason he won.
thx the bearded lady £37.50 won
I think Grumpy wants to bring back the Good Old Days ;-)

I agree. Molly and the song was fab. Im really disappointed for her.

Conchita was a well deserved winner
I liked the song, a bit Bond-esque.
