What did everyone think of Britains Got Talent tonight, especially the last act, the two lads with their song about bullying?

That made me cry, that one- although i think it was as much to do with the reaction from everyone else. Liked the impersonator, too.
Yes, he should go far, hopefully.

So glad I'm not the only one who cried.
Have to admit, when they first came on I was the first to say I couldn't stand them already, but the whole 'anti-bullying' thing was very emotional.
I thought that 'impersonator' was rubbish ! It just sounded like him every time.
Strangely- just picked up my daughter from a sleepover and she watched BGT with her friend. They said they met these two boys at a celebrity Soccer Six. So they are a little more well-known and practised than I'd realised.
That's very often the case with acts on BGT, apparently.....
Yes, it probably is.lol. I'm a little naive, maybe, but hadn't really thought it through, because of their ages.
This show was unique in my experience - and I have watched since Series One - in that every act without exception, was lousy.

They were powered on only by the mawkish crowd reaction where everyone there thought everything was fabulous.

The acid test of these talent shows is always the same - if an act is beamed into your living room at no charge would you watch it? Yes.

If the act was playing at your local entertainment venue and you had to get dressed, get the car out, and go out for an evening, and pay £10 each admission - would you watch those same acts? No.

In the case of all of these acts - definitely no.
I would never and have never watched any acts from x factor or bgt. To me, it's an auction show for entertainment, rather than a search for genuine talent. I often prefer watching the awful ones!
Auction...audition
Well said andy. BGT is mince. The Simon Cowell bubble is about to burst.
Far too many sob stories. Hopefully this will be the last series. It's getting stale and it's just the same old guff every year.
Andy is spot on with, for me, the exception of G4. I had never watched til the daughter phoned and told me to tune into them and vote...one of the guys was a friend....I liked them.....☺
Smack on, fanriffic, BGT and X Factor are both well past their sell by date.
Your spot on tonyav. The only way we can get is guff of the telly is if people stop watching it so the viewing figures go down and ITV won't show anymore.
People also need to stop turning up to appear on these shows and stop supporting the live tours so they don't make any money to line Cowell's pockets.
Enough is enough. Boycott all Simon Cowell productions.

I pretty much do already, fanriffic, I haven't watched GGT or X Factor for a few years now.
