So what did everyone think of the Eurovision Song Contest last night? Did you watch it?

I think I am right when I say that most entries are sung in English !

But I am still unsure what ABBA produced all those albums in English.
Did they produce Swedish versions of their songs, so that all of their compatriots could understand the words as well as us in Britain ?

I think lots of Johnny foreigners sing popular music in English. "Sank Evans for leetle girls" and "Yes sir.I can boogey" etc

I did watch it, but it was the usual tosh. The only song I liked was Italy, at least they could sing.

Yes sadly. They changed the rules years ago. I think I am right in saying that all of the "Big Five" (and Montenegro) sang in their own language
And Austria may have set a record by going from winners to nul points in a single season!"

The pubs were packed here last night (I'm in Malta) and most pubs were serving free tapas....

At home I never watch the Eurovision....

Retro, I'll have a look later but so far the weather forecasts have been totally out. The news channel has had the weather at about 23 most days but it's been much hotter than that.

It's rained once for about an hour and a couple of days have been windy. Still really warm if you find a sun trap (pub garden)
