Why Did My Supervisor Say One Of The Cleaners Just Left When She Had Been Sacked?

A cleaner in my place was sacked due to not cleaning properly like saying she emptied the bins and they were full but my supervisor said she just left but another cleaner told me she was sacked then supervisor said infront me how she said she changed the bins but they were full

Abbey, I can't help but feel that you look at things the wrong way round. You currently seem to be saying 'I want more hours, the home needs more staff, so why aren't they giving me my hours back?'  The truth is that they gave you 30 hours initially, you couldn't cope and they cut them back. You asked recently for the hours to be increased, and were told 'no' - so they must still think you are not capable.  If they did - think you were capable - you'd get full-time hours, possibly the chance of overtime and so on.

I am stunned that it is just "stairs"...no bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, dining area, lounge,kitchen....

18.27/  Abbey can you just clear up what Floko asked - surely you clean more than stairs?  Do you mean the building is on two floors and you do cleaning on each of the floors?  What exactly do you clean?

I got that Pasta!  Just trying to get the real picture - how many stairs does she do or does she clean anywhere else on the floors leading from the stairs.   Going round in circles doesn't even come into it!

2 sides of stairs and 3 flights and the banisters

Floko basically they cut my hours to just do the stairs and not rooms but I been doing rooms while people been off

onwards and upwards. If you show how valuable you are they might offer more hours and wider range of duties. Take it step by step.

Well see how my trial goes with this cleaning company it 3 days a week so would do different days

That's good. Will you have to take holidays from HB or the Care Home for your 3 trial days?

unfortunately that happens - if a person interviews better than other candidates they will give the job to the better candidate
