God only knows , 🤣

Perhaps she was just being polite? Does it matter?

the supervisor shouldnt be talking about staff perfrmance with other staff

Question Author

I understand that but why did she txt another cleaner and say it

I refer to the answer I gave earlier 🤣

We  cannot be expected to know how your supervisor's mind works, you should be asking her.

Question Author

Might land other cleaner in trouble then. There are some chiefs in the home tho.

Don't get involved

Question Author

That why I been told be careful what I say there

Exactly.  Consider yourself lucky you still have a job there

Not a mind reader Abbey - should it really matter to you what was said? Think not.  Perhaps you should just get on with your own work and not heed the "gossip".

Question Author

Flocko I'm grateful I got a job still bur I'm looking for another as I need full time hours

Are you still at HB?  I think that is best at the  present

Question Author

Yes but I don't want to do the both and not enjoying it

I know you dislike HB but I feel you will get used to it. Please try ☺️ Are you in HB today or tomorrow ?

Question Author

I don't want to do supermarket work. No neither.

Question Author

Just baffles me saying they need cleaners but won't give more hours

They want more staff but they want the right staff. They did not think you were sufficiently up to the role so reduced your hours- and perhaps (although I'm just guessing) gave you the simpler tasks they could trust you with

Abbey, the only chance you have of getting more hours is by proving that you are a good worker,  that you're reliable, can take instruction well and so on. There's nothing to stop you keeping an eye out for similar jobs elsewhere.

//Just baffles me saying they need cleaners but won't give more hours //

because you cannot do the job which is why they won't give you the hours
