got a smile on my face today!

I just wanted to share how proud i am of my fella. Last night he received a Commendation for Bravery for rescuing a mother and 3 children from a house fire.
Even the baby was impressed and started to kick as he accepted his award :)

Hey thats great news. What a brave men..what does he do? Firefighter? As a fellow emergency services worker its nice to see that our hard work and committment is recognised and rewarded. Congrats. x

my bloke recieved a clip round ear last night. While I was sleeping he tied my dressing gown robe round my ankle back up to my tassle on pajama bottoms. And yes I did fall over.

Yes my fella got a ticking off last night for letting our 10 week old puppy chew my dressing gown, then my scarf and then my work boots!!!

yes andi, he is a retained fire fighter (full cover).
The incident was our next door neighbours house but we heard the smoke alarm and he managed to get them all to safety before the crew arrived. he says he didnt do anything that hes not trained to do anyway, but like you i still thinks its nice to be recognised for such things.

No I got up still with it all tied aroune me and walked out room like he hadnt done a thing, looked like a john cleese funny walk. I spose he was just getting me back. We were sat on sofa earlier in night and he had a crossword book and was all comfy under a duvet and he started jiggling his leg which was on my lap I told him to stop and he wouldnt so I grabbed the book and flung it across room.
