Good morning, Birdies.

Does anyone have anything nice planned for today?

I'm just working from home as usual for a Tuesday. Nothing dreadfully exciting to report.

Wishing everyone a very Happy, pleasant day, whatever you have planned.

Morning, Johnny.

It is a beautiful morning indeed, you're not wrong x
Good Morning ladies, and Johnny.

Nothing planned, although I might pop across the harbours to Gosport library. Not only do they have a much better selection than Hayling (or Havant), they also have an absolutely super little café ( The Bookworm ) with delightful snacks.

Have a great day everyone.

I wish I could set aside more time for reading, Canary. Maybe one day.

Good morning, btw.
The usual weekly trip on 'the Uterine Route' today - supposedly a half-decent day on the weather-front.
Question Author
Morning, DT. I literally have no idea what the "uterine route" is...

It's just overcast and raining here.
think of the outline of this route, st Austell to Camborne over the tops to Falmouth, back up to Truro and then after a Waitrose raid on towards st Austell.....
Question Author
Oh, okay. Have a waitrose raid for me. I wouldn't mind some Sushi and a couple of their excellent racks of lamb.
Good morning - my garden furniture is turning up today - so excited for that and am doing some course work - tis quite intense so will be taking some breaks as needed.
Good morning LadyC and everyone. It is a cooler overcast day here in West Norfolk. Am seeing my doctor this morning and then will go shopping and have an easy afternoon. Going back to work tomorrow after a short break, never mind, have got more days off next weekend.

It's never nice going back to work, William, but we just have to grin and bear it.

I am thinking about booking Friday off but I've only got 45 hours left and need to take two days off for Weymouth and then in-laws are going away again in December so I'll have to book some hours off here and there to pick Ratboy up from school. I've got that much overtime work on at the moment (three different departments) that I'm taking annual leave off to keep up with that - not ideal really.

Have you got any more leave booked?

If Smow happens to look in perhaps she can update us on the awful situation discussed yesterday if at all possible. I am genuinely interested in that poor lad's welfare.
Morning from the mountain, suns shining and temperatures are climbing, it’s already 21 degrees , having a relaxing day soaking up the rays but when it gets too hot we move into the covered terrace , I hope the little fella went into school okay Lcg x
I've got a full and busy day ahead - so it is unfortunate that I hardly got any sleep. This was due to the fact that instead of having the cats in my room with me, I let them have the run of the house. Well it was truly awful. All I heard all night was thud, thud, thud up and down the stairs and at least 3 times they chased a monster spider into my room. Then the "we want breakfast" delegation was sent in to bite my feet at 5.45.
I have got a weeks holiday next month and a weeks holiday in February and then two floating days to take before April. I like to space out holidays to break up the year.
Oh and I just noticed the downstairs loo door was open. It looks like a very pretty snow globe in there since they have shredded the loo roll into several thousand pieces.

Morning, Bobbi. How many more days do you have in the beautiful Spanish sun?

Little one was better this morning - no tears :-)

Morning, BM. I did wonder how the fur babies were doing. It sounds like they won the lottery the day you rescued them.

I know what you mean, William. I just tend to take less days off over the wetter winter months as there's less options to go out anywhere.
Question Author
Oh aren't they thoughtful, BM! Helping you get prepped for the Christmas decorations...
Good morning LadyC and everyone, I were going to ask about your youngster. Aw bless :-( he’ll be fine I’m sure.

As for the down poor of rain oop here in West Yorkshire. Nothing else happening except England take on the Scots later. Celebrating The first ever international match between the two. Been the first international ever in football
Question Author
Morning, Arky. How's the dogsitting going?

Little one is a lot better in aspects, thanks. He'll get used to his new routine quite quickly.
