Good Morning Early Birds!

Tuesday. A bit nippy outside, but no wind, so not too bad.
A better night's sleep so I'm a happier bunny today, well, so far anyway!
Just the usual running around this morning, then mount ironing has reappeared. It seems like I only did it yesterday! Or someone is slipping theirs in!

Morning from insomnia land, hoping a thick hot chocolate might do the trick. I've only just realised how early it is!
We have the cooker man out again today, only a couple of weeks out of warranty and lost have the electrical power, fan oven, clock, interior light. They said they'd do it under the warranty, phew, came 2 weeks later, the box said clock, the contents were a grill element! Apparently if the clock doesn't work it takes half the power out, so today, almost 5 weeks later I might have it back up and running.

having my coffee and that is about it, don;t think i will last long to be honest, but we will see..

will have coffee first then see. The one thing about this time of the day its so quiet, apart from the odd car so you can hear almost nothing, its a good thing, if only it were like this all the time..

G'day mate. So that's where it comes from! :-D

emmie at this time during the summer, I sometimes go for a wee stroll along the lane, only for about ten minutes, but there is all sorts of wild life going about their lawful, or unlawful, occasions. Great fun! :o}

ironing, what is that, I don't do it unless absolutely necessary. Can't stand the job and other chores which means i am a bit lazy i guess..

I only do it because it needs doing emmie. Otherwise I'd be going out looking like I've slept in what I'm wearing, for an ex soldier that would never do! :o}

most of my clothes don't need ironing, they get washed, hung up in the cupboard to dry and are ready to wear whenever. Besides which i have to move everything out of the way to get to the ironing board, at least that's my excuse........

I don't mind ironing. First thing, set up the board and iron, second thing, pour out a beer.

i can't imagine drinking in the morning before breakfast, only if i am on holiday then that is somewhat different.
then its usually mid day before i am fully conscious, and awake enough to go walkabout. Those days are gone sadly, can't mobilise that much which is a great shame, as i used to love walking.

I always do the ironing in the afternoon emmie.

Vera and I used to do a lot of walking, we often walked to the Tudor Arms for a meal and then walk back, five miles each way, in good weather of course!

anyway that is me done for the moment, i am off back to the land of nod, good wishes for all who follow on, have a good day whatever you do...
