Good Morning Early Birds!

Wednesday. Yesterday turned out warm and sunny. It was lovely on the canal, several beers evaporated as we went to Gloucester docks for lunch in a lovely restaurant there. After lunch we went back to the boat for a good old chinwag and another couple of beers. An excellent day in excellent company.

Got workmen coming at 0930, so will be away at eight to make sure I'm back in time.

Good Morning, WBM. Gloucester docks is lovely, isn't it. I might take my husband down there for a bit of Christmas shopping. We did speak about it not so long ago. xxx

It was indeed a lovely day.

The workers will be fine when they get here, The kettle and bickies on standby already.

NM they've done a wonderful job with the docks, it's ongoing with some of the old derelict building by Llanthony bridge being transformed into luxury flats. A good place to do your christmas shopping. I could come and say 'Hello' while you're there.

It's a date then, WBM. I haven't been to the Docks for about 3 years but I remember some lovely shops down there. I met Paul Hollywood there too.

I'll look forward to that NM. It's also worth a visit when the Tall Ships Festival in on in the summer. That is always a good weekend and I'm usually there somewhere!

the doctor was a complete waste of time, the quack was off sick! Something disconcerting about a quack being sick. Friday now.....but a bit of a grrr moment.
