They're British, why would you deport them to their parents home? If I commit a crime should I be sent to Northern Ireland? If my friends commit crimes should they be deported to France? (Acutally that sounds quite nice). I don't really understand the logic and it's nothing to do with being PC or part of the HR brigade. They are British citizens who have committed a crime, why would they be deported elsewhere?

The answers would have been exactly the same, they're BRITISH, how or why could you deport them to a country they have NOTHING to do with?
Maybe you think Australia ought to be allowed to ship all it's convicts back here on the basis a lot of their ancestors landed there on transporation ships? The whole idea is ridiculous.
