Mozz,

I may give Blade Runner 2049 a second chance, everyone seems to agree with you that it was good. Zimmers soundtrack is superb.

I thought ‘The Phantom Menace’ was not good.

Both films I had eagerly anticipated, and wanted to like, but found them both terribly slow.
I agree the Phantom Menace was bobbins, but I honestly think it's as much us old time Star Wars fans have grown, while the movies haven't.
What's Star Wars?
New Disney movie Jim.
Ah right, so who's the princess?
I wished I liked Science Fiction. There would be a lot of films to watch!
Mandalorian Series 2 premieres next month.

Disney have 3 other television shows in the making. They are going to wring every dollar they can out of the franchise like CBS are doing to Star Trek.
I'm definitely not interested in a show that I spent three weeks or so waiting obsessively for its trailer and which is rumoured to have the character in my avatar show up :P
Never interested in that particular genre. Even as a kid I was not interested in the few episodes of Dr Who I saw with William Hartnell.
Logans Run is a favorite I can watch over and over. More recently 'Oblivion' Starring Tom Cruise.
if we are talking of tv series' then Battlestar galactica (new) is up there
are you an effective team APG?
I never liked Dr Who either, retro. I would also describe that as more fantasy than scifi. They are total opposites. There wasn't really any effort to make it believable that I can remember?
//Even as a kid I was not interested in the few episodes of Dr Who I saw with William Hartnell. //
I'm with you on that Retro. But I must admit I enjoyed Quatermass from behind the settee!

Science Fiction or Fantasy just bore me, as do most animated films.
Possibly the best episode ever of Dr Who didn't even have the Doctor in it, much.

Don't blink. Don't even blink. :)
Since cranking up the Star Trek wagon train CBS have given us:

Star Trek: Discovery
Star Trek: Picard
Star Trek: Shorts
Star Trek: Lower Decks (animation)

New Series in production:

Star Trek: Section 31
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Star Trek: Prodigy (animated)
To me, at least, it doesn't make sense to say that animated films don't interest you, because it isn't at all its own separate genre. It's just a different way of presenting the story.
I avoided Chariots of Fire for ages because I can't stand sci-fi and I remembered the book with a similar title, turned out it was Chariots of the Gods. Must say that I quite liked Quantum Leap on TV though.
that is a great episode Jim, slightly marred for me by the presence of Muppet, sorry, Martha
Bladerunner (original), Alien, Interstellar, The Martian, Oblivion, to name but a few.
