What was said to the people below in the streets of London when people threw their chamber pots out of the window ?

I havn't found that out but in Edinburgh they shouted gardyloo (a corruption of the French for watch the water)

Thank you. The answer that I am looking for is now used as a slang term in London but I cant for the life of me remember it !
409princess Yes they said what sounded like gardyloo and it is an English 'translation' of "Regarder L'eau" which is French for "watch out, water".

Yes, they did call out gardy-loo but did you also know that women walked on the inside of the walkway and the man on the outside because if a chamber pot were thrown the man would get splashed and not the woman. And they say chivalry is dead, lol lol.
