Just a passing thought - how many on this site actually work? By this I mean hold down a regular job which is paid. I know of a couple this applies to, but wondered about the rest.

Not me, I am retired.
Retired ....here
I do supply work- zero hours contract. Currently no work for me so no income, just living off Hubby’s pension!
Recently retired...this would have made me stop anyway.
I, also, am retired. I don't do anything that brings in any kind of income. As things are at present, my wife and I are relieved that we don't have to depend on an earned income to survive. We should probably have to stay at home, perhaps without pay, which must be a worry for some wage earners.
i work full time
Now Retired, but normally do lots of things with the U3A.x
Duplicate bookbbinder's post for me.
Self-employed and work from home and have a bit of work to tide me over.....getting new projects is going to prove a bit of a challenge over the forthcoming months, though.
Full time employed, and regular overtime.
I work part time from home.
Self-employed full-time, although we currently have to have two weeks off. We have a power cut... that's unusual.
I work full-time.
Im employed (and get paid for) 14 hours a week, but in reality work 30+ hours a week.
Think I'd go loopy again if I was cooped up all day, everyday. Had enough of that in the past...
I work, I get paid, I'd settle for 80% for a few weeks to get my breath back.

Nailit, you need to have a word with yourself.
I started a new, 12 hours a week job on 20 February (in the village shop, part of a large chain) after a 13 year break - so far I’ve averaged 30 hours a week :)
Retired early , reduced pension,
I work full time Mon to Fri- in the defence sector if anyone's interested.
Retired 21 years ago.
