hmm, i dont think i ever had the pleasure of having any lemon hot crunch pudding, what were they like? they sound nice, i like lemony things.

a regular pudding in our house when i was little, on a sunday, was either bananna custard, or one of those tins of treacle sponges that you heated up on the stove and had it with custard, hmm used to love that. and if it wasnt either of those, it was a piece of ginger cake and, yes youve guessed it .. custard lol.
If you like lemon and like custard you would have loved Hot Crunch Pudding -

lol, thanks yingyang, well i dont think i ever clapped eyes on a lemon hot crunch pud before in all my youthful years! .. tut ...
It was one of those things that because you had to do a bit of mixing, you could kid yourself that you'd made it...

ahh i see.. lol ... a bit like us and the sunday bananna custard then ... alot of chopping AND stirring was involved with that one! - proper cooking!!
I suspect the daily menus may be wasted on us lot - a boil in the bag curry and instant lemon gloop and we're happy. : )
Question Author
ooh dear, we dont sound very sophisticated do we yingyang?! lol
Happy though!

Food should be fun.I do eat mostly ' proper food' but there's nothing like squelching Angel Delight through your teeth every now and again ( or is that just me? )

just you boxy... just you .... hehe.... ;o)
I am gonna snitch to mercia tomorrow about this thread

tutttt .............. theres always one isnt there??!!! lol .....
I had a Fray Bentos pie for dinner tonight. They were reduced to £1 in Tescos. They're just handy to have in the cupboard when you don't feel like cooking.
I thought that was what brandy was for Jan!

looby - indulge me, I am in pain and feeling very very old tonight
Maybe one of us should do a menu tommorrow

Main course - Fray Bentos or Vesta Curry or Cheesy Pasta

Dessert - Hot cruch Pudding or Banana Custard

Can anyone think of a starter?

( Hope mercia takes this in good spirit. )
That's vodka ttfn (see the vodka thread). Sounds like you could do with one now. It's a great painkiller.
Tomato soup - straight from the can

Have no voddie Jan but there is always the other bottle.................................
