I have no special interest in football in general, or Everton in particular, but I do read the sports pages, and am advised that miracles will be needed to keep them up by the end of the season.

Mrs Hughes, a passionate football fan, wanted Mr Dyche for her beloved Stoke City, but sadly it was not to be.

The Canaries had a bad 3-0 loss at home. It all started badly when the first goal was scored after a sloppy pass by the goalkeeper straight to an opposing player. These players are payed a lot of money to be professional, so why make silly mistakes like that?.
