What's the most interesting or complicated or scrumptious thing you've made recently?
I confess, much as I do love cooking (and eating) good food, I've not been very adventurous lately for one reason or another. I really need to make a batch of the famous ragu but can't be arrised at the mo.
I have some Swedish meatballs in the freezer so may make a sauce to have with them this week, don't hold your breath though.

@Hans...possibly. Just to clarify, it's chicken basque NOT chicken in a basque.
Simple recipe for Ragu sauce:

1 Go to supermarket

2 Pick up jar

3 Pay at checkout.

Hans, hevaen smells like warm milk and nutmeg. In my opinion.
want a Cornish Hen in a Basque, the suspenders and the stockings are extra.

Recently I've made a fab Victoria Sponge, surf & turf (pork belly & lobster tail) with Newberg sauce and cauliflower purée, fillet steak with peppercorn sauce and onion rings, among other things.
Earl Grey Tea? No-one with any sense of taste drinks that crap.
Heavenly milk , Earls in robes,basques and stockings?

I'm sitting here with a plate of creamy chicken with olives and sun-dried tomatoes.
Yesterday I made " Adventure Bread "... a surprisingly yummy gluten free bread made almost exclusively with nuts and seeds. Seriously good.
