Went to IKEA yesterday to buy some curtain rails etc. Whilst there I saw this really pretty plant with an unusual pink flower. So I decided to buy it, and also picked a silver pot to put it in. I've put it carefully in trolley so not to break it, then in car on way home I put in in the footwell and and put something in front to it doesn't fall over. Get home and lovingly water it, then put it on the windowsill where it looks really lovely.
Then I take a closer look at it - it's blooming plastic!!! Lol!

One day he came home with some freesias in a cellophane wrapping.....
I know you love freesias, he said, especially the scent.....
Yes....they were plastic.......he took them back.... :-)
Trouble is Snowball they look so real . looking after a friends property once while they were on holiday , I watered their plants in the house for three weeks only to find out half of them were plastic.

Omg not just me then lol.
I guess you are one of those folk will cut the grass only when you get mowtivated - and with your plastic flower, you can now be called a plant manager.
The real meaning of plant catalogue terminology:

“A favorite of birds” means to avoid planting near cars, pavements, or clothes lines.
“Grows more beautiful each year” means “Looks like roadkill for the foreseeable future.”
“Zoning with protection” is a variation on the phrase “Russian roulette.”
“May require support” means your daughter’s engineering degree will finally pay off.
“Moisture-loving” plants are ideal for landscaping all your bogs and swamps.
“Carefree” refers more to the plant’s attitude than to your workload.
“Vigorous” is code for “has a Napoleonic compulsion to take over the world.”
“Grandma’s Favourite” — until she discovered free-flowering, disease-resistant hybrids.
"Neigbour Proof" - plants that don't need watering as they are plastic.
"Smowball Plants" - Swedish plants bought on a whim and not carefully inspected as to what they are, smow and ice resistant
