Good Morning Early Birds

Tuesday..dry and warm here in Edinburgh ....back to hossie today ! Dad took high temperature and was very sick yesterday so ambulance was necessary..now back in western on antibiotic drip....think his stent in bile duct is causing infection..he'll be under obs for a few days with a view to being shipped out to infirmary to have it changed. Just when things were getting good for him too...so that's my week now mapped out !...hope you all have a good day xxx

Oh Yeah...seriously flagging we're getting no time to recover between runs of shifts, 4 days off this months. I can't wait to get away for a settled shift pattern and a rest!!

I was watching the hedgehogs last night. Mrs. tiggy was rolled up fast asleep under one of the garden chairs. Mr.s Tiggy came up, bowled her out of the way and went on his way. Little 'ooligan!

Morning Alba and Boaty, gray and miserable here tghis morning as well, looks like it might burn back a bit later though.

Actually Alba, I quite enjoyed it, good musicians and music always drags me in. The hotel was poor, Lorne Hotel on Sauchiehall St beside kelvingrove Park. rooms were tiny loos even smaller, buffet breakfast was terrible! won't go back there

Rooms were 8x10ft, two mugs and a couple of sachets of coffee as an "in room facilities", the loos were about 6'x4' you really couldn't swing a cat. restaurant doubles as an Indian restaurant, breakfast was in there. The food was in warming pans that had been out for ages, no waiter service whatsoever, everything from a central point. Coffee and tea tasted like they'd been out for four or five hours!!!! the boss wasn't happy!!
