I don't drink and had a very weepy afternoon following an appointment. Dragged Mr Cake out of the house to cheer me up and spent a small fortune revamping my wardrobe.

Got abcess on top gum (can't see dentist til 15th Oct ..a joke)so a large brandy or 3 is for medicinal purposes

TCP and swish is round the mouth,, however, brandy is deffo better but don't swish it out!!

TWR, the solution to your heavy brandy is to make sure it's warm.
I start the first one off on a radiator then keep the glass in my hand from then on. Small glasses refilled often instead of the traditional balloon helps. :-)

I feel for you Berniecuddles, as I've got a gum boil at back of bottom teeth! My side of face was hurting yesterday but it's settled down today. You should have said it was an emergency! Hope you can last till said date....

I'm still not leaving the house so I got the cooker cleaned out, done a Tesco shop and have made 2 weeks worth of meal plans.

Good weather here today, even better from 12 o'clock ( finished work then ). Got home and changed the radiator expansion tank on my car, never known one of those these things to break before.
Got any port to go with that brandy, TWR.
