Mushy Peas

I soaked a bag of dried peas from Morrisons overnight, rinsed them and put them into fresh water to boil at 9 am today. They're still hard, just had half an hour in the microwave as well! Never buy peas from the Czech Republic via Morrisons!

No tablet but I used bicarb, been doing mushy peas for over forty years! No way the food of Satan, what else goes with steak pudding and chips?? OH actually looks forward to it getting cold enough for his comfort food! As a refugee in Norfolk, I hate seeing pie and mash or jellied eels on boards, talking about food of Satan, snot on a plate are jellied eels.

No Asda near here and Tesco have stopped doing them, "no demand" and few places do the frozen ones. I need an expedition back to Bolton soonest.
